Our Story
The Wright Firm is led by Zekiah N. Wright (she/they), a Los Angeles-based labor and employment litigator who advises executives, professionals, and boutique businesses on complex workplace matters. Wright brings a practical, litigation-informed perspective to every engagement, guiding clients through high-stakes issues with strategy and discretion.

Founded in 2017, The Wright Firm was created to provide sophisticated employment counsel to clients seeking thoughtful, strategic representation. The firm has represented both employees and small business owners across a wide range of workplace disputes, offering guidance that reflects both legal realities and broader professional considerations.

Wright’s legal experience includes work with a union and civil rights firm in Orlando, as well as positions with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and an international law firm in Washington, D.C. This foundation informs the firm’s approach—combining litigation experience with a clear understanding of how employment matters are resolved.

In addition to legal practice, Wright has held several leadership and advisory roles within the Los Angeles community, including serving as Chair of the West Hollywood Rent Stabilization Commission and as a member of the Los Angeles District Attorney’s African-American Advisory Board. Wright remains actively engaged in community and professional organizations.

Wright earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Stetson University and a Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law, with additional studies at the Universidad de Barcelona and Pepperdine University’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
